About GunList

GunList is built by a small team of gun enthusiasts here in Texas. We started it because we believe private buyers and sellers deserve a simple, modern place to connect without commissions, unnecessary fees, or a platform trying to become part of the transaction.

Our main focus is private-party sales. We want GunList to feel like a real local community, not a wall of dealer inventory or anonymous posts. That also means taking scams seriously. We are building practical protections to make suspicious activity harder, keep contact information away from bots and scrapers, and help honest people deal with more confidence. No marketplace can eliminate every risk, but we believe it should actively work to keep the community clean.

We also build tools for what happens beyond the listing. Our FFL Lookup helps users find nearby licensed dealers when a transfer is needed, and our paperless Bill of Sale makes it easier for buyers and sellers to document a transaction without printing, scanning, or exchanging unnecessary paperwork.

GunList is still young, and we are improving it as we go. We listen closely to the people using the platform and are always open to ideas, criticism, and suggestions. If something feels confusing, could work better, or is simply missing, please let us know. The best improvements often come directly from the community.
