Description
Springfield Armory's Prodigy redefines the classic 1911 platform with modern double-stack engineering and contemporary performance features. This 9mm Luger semi-auto combines a forged stainless steel match-grade bull barrel with a forged carbon steel frame and slide finished in Cerakote, available in black or coyote. The 4.25-inch configuration measures 7.8 inches overall with 5.5-inch height and weighs 32.5 ounces. The polymer grip module pairs with the steel frame to deliver magazine capacities of 17+1 or 20+1, with two magazines included standard. Fiber optic front and fixed serrated rear sights come factory-installed, while the optics-ready slide accepts popular red dot systems via Agency Optic System plates. An ambidextrous manual safety and full-length guide rod round out the package. Each unit ships in a protective double-zipper case.
