Springfield Armory's Prodigy in 9mm Luger represents a modern evolution of the classic 1911 platform, engineered for capacity and performance. This semi-auto handgun features a forged carbon steel frame and slide with Cerakote finish, paired with a 4.25-inch match-grade stainless steel bull barrel for rapid follow-up accuracy. The double-stack polymer grip module accommodates either dual 17-round magazines or a 20-round extended magazine, alongside two standard 10-round options. The optics-ready slide accepts popular red dot systems via Agency Optic System plates. Additional features include fiber optic front sight, black serrated rear sight, ambidextrous manual safety, full-length guide rod recoil system, and Picatinny rail. At 32.5 ounces and 7.8 inches in length, this firearm balances handling with functional capacity. Factory includes a protective double-zipper case and multiple magazines. Available in black or coyote finish.
