Description
Springfield Armory's Prodigy reimagines the classic 1911 platform with modern double-stack capacity and performance engineering. This 9mm semi-auto features a forged stainless steel match-grade bull barrel available in 3.5", 4.25", or 5" lengths, paired with a forged carbon steel slide and frame finished in durable Cerakote. The polymer grip module integrates with standard 1911 controls while delivering 17+1 or 20+1 round capacity via included detachable magazines. Optics ready via Agency Optic System plates, the pistol ships with fiber optic front and fixed serrated rear sights, ambidextrous manual safety, and Picatinny rail. Weight ranges from 32.5 to 33 ounces depending on barrel length. Each unit ships with two magazine options and a protective double-zipper case. A HEX Dragonfly red dot comes bundled standard.
