This next-generation Bren 2 MS represents a clean-sheet redesign of the proven Bren platform, now available in semi-auto pistol configuration. Chambered in 5.56x45 NATO, it features a cold hammer-forged barrel with matte blued finish and comes with a 30-round AR-15 compatible magazine. The firearm showcases significant weight reduction through an aluminum receiver and carbon fiber-reinforced polymer lower, tipping the scales at approximately 5.86 pounds. The reciprocating charging handle has been replaced with a stowed design that doubles as a forward assist and swaps side to side for user preference. An ambidextrous manual safety and AR-style mirrored bolt catch/release system provide familiar controls. Folding adjustable sights offer quick acquisition, while the modular design allows barrel length and chambering swaps. The flush rear plate accepts standard AR-pattern buffer tubes for stabilizing devices, with options for SBR conversion. This variant ships with one magazine and a flash hider muzzle device, ready for immediate use.
