This CZ 457 bolt-action rifle represents a refined approach to American-style rimfire shooting. Built around a 22 Long Rifle cartridge with a 24.8-inch blued barrel, the rifle ships without sights and is designed to be scope-mounted via the 11mm dovetail receiver milling. The Turkish walnut stock features a high, flat comb with classic checkering, weighing 6.17 pounds overall. Key improvements over earlier CZ rimfire platforms include a push-to-fire safety mechanism preferred by instructors and 4-H coaches, a shortened and slab-sided action for reduced weight and footprint, and streamlined two-piece interlocking bottom metal. The 60-degree bolt lift accommodates larger objective lenses with lower mounting rings compared to traditional 90-degree designs. An adjustable trigger allows customization of weight, creep, and over-travel. The rifle comes with one five-round detachable magazine and measures 38.2 inches in overall length.
