This CZ 457 Varmint represents a modern refinement of rimfire rifle design, chambered in 22 Long Rifle with a heavy 20.5-inch blued barrel that delivers exceptional accuracy across a wide range of ammunition types. The rifle features a Turkish walnut stock with American-style comb for scope mounting and a wide, flat forend that settles solidly on sandbags. Laser-cut stippling provides secure grip control fore and aft. The action incorporates an American-style push-to-fire safety, a feature long requested by instructors and coaches. The 60-degree bolt lift allows generous clearance for larger scope objective bells with lower mounting rings. A fully adjustable trigger lets shooters customize weight, creep, and over-travel. The rifle includes one five-round detachable polymer magazine and uses CZ's proven swappable barrel system.
