Safety Tips
- Meet in a public, well-lit spot — a police-station safe exchange zone is the best choice.
- Bring a friend along for high-value deals; avoid meeting alone or after dark.
- Inspect the item in person before any money changes hands, and never send a deposit to “hold” it.
- Put the deal on paper — a signed bill of sale protects both sides.
- Refuse wire transfers, gift cards, and crypto — scammers ask for exactly these.
- If the price looks too good to be true or the other party rushes you, walk away.
