This new MK116 MOD 2-M semi-automatic rifle in .223 Wylde represents a complete piston-driven platform ready for duty or sport shooting. The 16.1-inch 41V50 steel barrel delivers 2980 fps velocity with a 1:8 twist rate optimized for modern ammunition. Built on PWS's proprietary long-stroke piston system with three-position adjustable gas regulation, reliability remains consistent across varying conditions. The upper receiver features PWS's T6 7075 forged construction, while the lower is fully ambidextrous and AR-15 compatible. A 15-inch PicLok handguard provides accessory mounting flexibility, paired with a Radian Raptor charging handle for smooth operation. The mil-spec enhanced trigger breaks at 5.5 to 6.5 pounds. Enhanced H2 buffer and 1.2-inch diameter tube with ratchet lock ensure consistent cycling. This rifle ships at 6.11 pounds with Bravo Company furniture and includes one 30-round magazine. Factory anodized finish protects the aluminum components to mil-spec standards.
