This semi-automatic rifle operates via short-stroke gas piston system with an internal return spring, eliminating the need for a buffer tube. The folding, adjustable polymer stock collapses from 35.6 inches to 28 inches, facilitating compact storage and transport. Built on a modular platform, the rifle features a lightweight construction combining an aluminum upper receiver with carbon fiber-reinforced polymer lower. The 16.5-inch cold hammer-forged barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO/223 Remington and accepts standard 30-round detachable magazines. At 7.3 pounds, it remains highly maneuverable. The non-reciprocating charging handle remains stowed until needed and is side-swappable. Control layout emphasizes ambidextrous operation with mirrored bolt catch/release systems, side-mounted magazine release, and dual safety levers.
